The Elder of
Ziyon blog, a compulsory
and rich resource for advocates of the case for Israel,
issues annual awards to recognize the achievements of the pro-Israel
advocacy community.
We
were delighted to learn tonight that our blog is one of the recipients of the
2015 Hasby Awards. Here's the announcement in Elder's own words:
The most anticipated Hasby Award is for Best Blog, and there were a lot of nominations: Israel Matzav; This Ongoing War; Jews Down Under; Pro-Israel Bay Bloggers; 5 Minutes for Israel; IsraelSeen; Thomas Wictor; IsraelStreet; Abu Yehuda; The Mike Report. It was another difficult category, but for me an enjoyable one to research, as many of these excellent blogs are not on my normal radar. And the winner is Arnold and Frimet Roth's This Ongoing War.
My main criteria for this award are originality of ideas, quality of long-form writing and frequency of posts. Arnold and Frimet's blog averages a post a day, and they are always original and thoughtful posts about the war against Islamic terror both within and without Israel. They are fine writers and they have the facts to back their arguments up. This Ongoing War is a very worthwhile blog to read.
Mazal Tov, Arnold and Frimet!
We are
proud to join the fraternity of past Hasby winners.
