A Palestinian Arab, driving urgently into the Israeli community of Psagot tonight (Saturday) with a knife and terrorist plans on his mind, panicked when intercepted by a security person at the guarded entrance and instead rammed his vehicle into another car.
There are four Israelis injured, all of them passengers in that other car: a man and his nine-year-old son suffered unspecified moderate injuries, according to Israel National News, and were rushed to Jerusalem's Shaarei Zedek Medical Center for emergency treatment. Two others in the car are injured lightly. The Arab died of his injuries, according to the INN report, and another site says "The Arab driver is dead from the crash. A very large knife was found under the driver’s feet." If we get confirmation of his death, we will update this post.
Psagot, about 20 minutes drive north of Jerusalem along Route 60, is home to about 290 families.
