From online postings by local residents in the affected area, and not confirmed so far in any of the conventional places: A GRAD rocket (yes,
a GRAD) was fired from Gaza into southern Israel in the small hours of this morning. The
Tzeva Adom incoming missile system issued its frightening warnings around 01:45 Friday morning, followed soon after by a report that the rocket had crashed into open fields in the Eshkol region. No reports at this point of injury to people or damage to property.
