18-Jun-12: After this morning's terror gang incursion, rocket fire on Ashkelon

The southern regions of Israel are tense in the wake of this morning's attack by a terrorist gang that took the life of an Israeli construction crew worker. Yet another in the seemingly endless arsenal of Gazan rockets was fired at the city of Ashkelon in the past hour, exploding somewhere in the Hof Ashkelon region. There are no signs of injury or damage, according to Ynet's flash. It is also reporting on the deployment by the IDF of Armored forces - tanks - near Israel's Egypt border.

THIS ONGOING WAR is not part of the activity of the Malki Foundation which was founded by us, Frimet and Arnold Roth of Jerusalem, on September 11, 2001. But it is inspired by the same tragic circumstances. The Malki Foundation (also known by its Hebrew name: Keren Malki) is a memorial to the life of our daughter, Malki who was murdered at the age of 15 in a massacre in the centre of Jerusalem carried out by Hamas.
