20-Mar-11: And now come the heavy Gazan rockets fired into Israel

Ashkelon from the air
Today may be Purim, an otherwise happy festival day. But we happen to be in the midst of a steady escalation of violence and aggression from the Hamastan terrorists of the Gaza Strip. This evening (Sunday) after several days of intense mortar fire, a Grad-class rocket fired from Gaza exploded in the southern Israeli coastal city of Ashkelon. Several Israelis suffered shock. Ynet says an elderly woman was injured while attempting to take cover. No damage was reported. There's little doubt this is not the end of the matter.
