A young Palestinian Arab resident of a West Bank town carried out a stabbing attack on a Haredi man today (Monday) at the corner of Haim Bar-Lev and Hanevi'im streets in Jerusalem, close to the Old City. The Times of Israel report says the intended victim managed to get away without being injured. The assailant tried to escape by running away but was caught by police on nearby Salah a-Din Street in East Jerusalem. The police say the motive for the attack was, as it is usually termed here, for "nationalistic motives".
