It would be welcome just to see World Vision's senior management treat these charges as having to do with a massive abusive of trust and as a threat to the lives of people like our family, since that's what Hamas stands for. We would be glad to stand corrected on this but till now there seems to be no indication that its leadership in Australia, the US, Israel or Gaza sees it remotely like that.

Do we now expect donors to pay attention and draw the right infereneces? We surely do.This Ongoing Warhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00071059442104716833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29459499.post-81697509941850607352016-12-07T00:54:55.739+02:002016-12-07T00:54:55.739+02:00If/when Mohammad El Halabi is convicted, it is ve...If/when Mohammad El Halabi is convicted, it is very important that this is not seen just as a case of corruption. El Halabi did not use the funds for personal gain, a new BMW etc. Rather the money donated to World Vision to help the world's poor was deliberately diverted to aid in the murder of Israelis. Again, assuming the charges are proven, the primary victims are not the poor farmers of Gaza, but the traumatized children of Sderot etc. To have any moral credibility left, World Vision would have to donate at least the same amount of money as was given to Hamas to Israeli charities working with the communities bordering Gaza. colinbarnesbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15052459221797943305noreply@blogger.com
