A Palestinian stabbed an IDF soldier in Hebron on Saturday evening, in the third such attack in the city, a frequent flashpoint where a few hundred Jews live in close proximity to tens of thousands of Palestinians. The soldier was lightly to moderately wounded and evacuated to Hadassah Medical Center in Ein Kerem, the IDF said. The attacker was shot at the site by two soldiers, Walla said, and died shortly after reaching hospital. Walla named the attacker as 22-year-old Tareq Netsha from Hebron. [Times of Israel, October 17, 2015]He's 22 in that report. But here's what the Jerusalem Post is saying
The Palestinian assailant who carried out a stabbing attack at the Hasam Shoter checkpoint in Hebron on Saturday night was identified as Tariq Ziyad Naamen Natshah, 16, the Shin Bet announced. [Jerusalem Post, October 17, 2015]Different names, but similar enough that we think it's the same person - and that he may be yet another weaponized Palestinian Arab child terrorist. We will keep checking.
Meanwhile the security post adjacent to the ancient Tomb of the Patriarchs - Ma'arat Hamachpela in Hebrew - has come under sustained firebomb attack by Palestinian Arab assailants in the past half hour.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
