A rocket attack was launched early this morning (Wednesday) from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. Like so many before it, at least one was what we call a Fell Short - crashing back to earth on the Hamas side of the border and doing some unreported harm inside the Gaza Strip. It's almost invariably the case that damage and casualties from Fell Shorts like today's go unreported. There were no reports of damage from the fallen rocket, or confirmation from Israeli officials that the launch took place. The
Times of Israel, quoting the Gaza website “Gaza Now” says it landed somewhere in
Deir el-Balah. (

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
