1-Jun-14: Incoming rocket warnings heard around 9:15 pm in Israel's southern communities

Still awaiting confirmation but it appears at this time that there has been at least one incoming rocket fired from Gaza, perhaps more than one. The Code Red (Tzeva Adom) incoming rocket warning was heard, according to online reports as well as Walla News (Hebrew), around 9:15 this evening (Sunday). No reports at this hour of damage, injuries or anything else concrete beyond the sirens which were sounded in Israel's Sdot Negev and Sha'ar Hanegev regions.

UPDATE 11:00 pm No confirmation from any source at this stage that rockets fell in the area. The sirens were certainly heard.

UPDATE Monday 05:30 am Times of Israel reports that the Israeli Air Force
attacked two targets in the Gaza Strip early Monday morning, in response to recent rocket fire from the Hamas-ruled territory into Israel. One of the targets was in the southern Strip, and the other in the center. The IAF reported direct strikes on the targets. Two rockets were fired into Israel in the last two days...

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
