Israel National News and other sources are reporting that two Gazan rockets were fired this evening (Wednesday) in Israel's general direction, triggering Color Red/Tzeva Adom sirens in Sderot, Hof Ashkelon, Yad Mordechai, Gevim and other southern Israel locations. One appears to have exploded inside Israel, location as yet undisclosed. The second is evidently yet another fell short.
We are hearing of additional rocket attacks in other parts of the same area, and in the Shaar Hanegev region (population about 6,000) all between about 18:45 and 19:00 this evening. Walla, a Hebrew-language news channel, says at least two Gazan rockets exploded inside Gaza with (as usual) unknown consequences.
The IDF says one of the incoming rockets crashed into the Erez Crossing compound that includes a pedestrian and cargo terminal and is located in the northern end of the Gaza Strip on the border with Israel.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
