Shortly after 11 tonight (Monday), the dreaded
Tzeva Adom incoming missile warning system sirens were heard in southern Israel's
Hof Ashkelon and
Sha'ar Hanegev regions. Initial reports say Gazan rockets (more than one, subject to confirmation) crashed and (according to
Walla! News in Hebrew) exploded in open spaces somewhere within the Shaar Hanegev region, causing neither injuries nor damage, and perhaps including one or more rocket landings on the Hamas side of the Gaza/Israel border. But try explaining that to terrified children awakened from their sleep...
once again. More details when we have them.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
