22-Sep-13: Incoming mortar tonight

According to Ynet, an incoming mortar fell near the border fence in Israel's Eshkol region, with no reports of injuries or damage. A Hebrew news forum report around 9:10 pm this evening (Sunday) first reported that an explosion had been heard, and Israel National News then added (in Hebrew, around 9:40 pm this evening) that the landing site had been located. Tonight's attack originated in Hamas-controlled Gaza. Perhaps by coincidence (or not), prominent Hamas leader and Deputy Politburo chief Mousa Abu Marzook posted a statement on his Facebook page from Gaza saying: "Palestinians are on the brink of a new intifada".

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
