No one is expecting an easy day here. Most recent Tzeva Adom incoming rocket warning happened in the Eshkol region in past few minutes (it's now 6:30 am Thursday) as well as in Be'er Sheva, Ofakim, Rahat (a predominantly-Bedouin community in the Negev). Before that, around 6:00 in the Eshkol region again.
There were middle-of-the-nights attacks on Be'er Sheva, Ashkelon and the Mehavim region around 2 am and 3 am (multiple rounds).
Meanwhile the IDF's air force has been aerial-bombing dozens of targets in Gaza, doing what is intended to be a fundamental removal of the capacity of the terrorists to wage their constant and largely unreported war of terrorism on ordinary civilian Israelis. Not much concrete information to report on how effectively that is proceeding, but that is to be expected in war, especially in the first day or two.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
