14-Oct-12: Early Sunday evening missile attacks

From the Gazan side of the border, this report:
14 OCT, 1600hrs: Pal. ops. fired 4 mortar shells from E of Abu Al Ajeen, MA, toward the Green Line.
It's not clear how many of those Palestinian Arab mortars fired in the general direction of Israel ("the Green Line") actually crossed the line, and how many "fell short", killing or injuring the clansfolk of the thugs doing the firing. (Those casualties almost go un-reported.) That was around 4 this afternoon (Sunday). On the Israel side, IDF Spokesperson reported on one incoming missile at about that time, and from an eye-witness online forum, the Tzeva Adom (Color Red) warnings went off in the heavily-battered Eshkol region at that hour.

Now in the last half hour we hear reports of the missile warning system sounding in both Eshkol and Hof Ashkelon regions. Unconfirmed report says a hail of rockets. Stay tuned.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
