11-Sep-12: Two more Gazan rockets explode in southern Israel tonight

Two additional Qassam rockets were fired from Gaza into southern Israel around 9:30 tonight. Both landed in open areas of the Sha'ar Henegev region which borders the Gaza Strip [source]. The Tzeva Adom, or Code Red, warning system warned civilian residents of the incoming attack. Security forces are currently searching the area for the rockets’ remains.

Sha'ar Hanegev has 6,000 Israeli residents. Its area includes the city of Sderot, located almost on the border with the terrorist-rich Gaza Strip, plus ten kibbutzim (Bror Hayil, Dorot, Erez, Gavem, Kfar Aza, Mefalsim, Nahal Oz, Nir Am, Or HaNer and Ruhama), and one moshav - Yakhini.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
