A Qassam rocket is
reported to have crashed into an open area of the
Sha'ar Hanegev region in southern Israel around 5 pm this afternoon (Sunday). The area, midway between the cities of Beersheba and Ashkelon is home to some 6,000 Israeli civilians. No injuries or damage as far as can be ascertained.
