31-Oct-07: Far from media attention, ongoing barrages into Israel

Two more Qassam rockets were fired into Israel last night (Tuesday) from positions in Gaza.

In addition, some 10 mortars were fired yesterday into the Israeli town of Netiv Ha'asarah located perilously close to Gaza. The Islamic Jihad terror organization proudly claimed credit. One of the mortars struck a residence, causing it to catch fire and causing structural damage. A number of shock victims, including a grandmother and her granddaughter, were treated by emergency medical teams.

Did the media in your area report this?

In a military response, an Israel air force attack fired a missile into a Palestinian police station in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis late last night. The Palestinians said four Hamas men were killed. The IDF has now confirmed the Palestinian report of an air strike against Hamas.

Like many sites that advocate for a moderate, Israel-friendly viewpoint, we unfortunately receive abusive, offensive and racist messages on a routine basis. We want it to be clear that we reserve the right to reject them in our absolute discretion. Racist and Israel-hating sites abound on the web. So not being allowed to play in our sandbox can hardly be called a hardship. Anonymous postings or messages where email address of the poster is hidden from us will generally not be accepted.
