The Iron Dome anti-missile system has intercepted seven rockets so far, according to an IDF spokesman. The IDF Home Front command has instructed residents living within 10 km of Gaza to remain indoors this morning and to take shelter. Southern municipalities have canceled schools amid the ongoing escalation, while Israel Police have heightened patrols around Gaza in the south, placing bomb sappers in the area to deal with the heightened threat.
